All registration fees paid to Bayside Little League are non-transferable and subject to the terms of this Refund Policy.
Request Requirements
All refund requests must be submitted in writing. Verbal, in-person, or third-party requests will not be accepted or considered.
Refund requests may be submitted only by the parent or legal guardian of the registered player. Bayside Little League reserves the right to require verification of legal guardianship. No refund will be issued without proper authorization.
Administrative Fee
A non-refundable $75 administrative fee shall be deducted from all approved refunds, without exception. This fee covers administrative, processing, and league preparation costs and is not contingent upon participation.
Refund Deadlines and Conditions
Withdrawals Four (4) Weeks Prior to Opening Day
Players withdrawn no later than four (4) weeks before the official opening day of the current season are eligible for a refund of registration fees less the non-refundable $75 administrative fee.
Withdrawals After the Deadline
No refunds shall be issued for withdrawals made after the deadline unless one of the following conditions is met:
A written physician’s statement is submitted confirming that the player has a medical condition that prevents participation in Bayside Little League activities for the season, or
A refund is approved by a majority vote of the Bayside Little League Board of Directors, acting in its sole and absolute discretion.
The Board will consider refund requests only for documented medical conditions that render the player unable to participate. Schedule conflicts, dissatisfaction, team placement, coaching assignments, or voluntary withdrawal do not constitute grounds for a refund.
In all approved cases, the $75 administrative fee remains non-refundable.
Administrative and Non-Recoverable Costs
The registrant acknowledges that Bayside Little League incurs non-recoverable expenses prior to and during the season, including but not limited to administrative costs, field rentals, insurance, equipment purchases, clinics, team formation, and uniform ordering. These costs are not refundable under any circumstances, regardless of participation.
Method of Refund
Approved refunds for registrations paid by credit card will be issued only to the original method of payment and only to the parent or legal guardian who completed the registration. Refunds are processed through the league’s online registration system and may take 5–10 business days to appear on the cardholder’s bank statement.
Final Authority
All refund determinations made by Bayside Little League and/or its Board of Directors are final. Failure to enforce any portion of this policy in a specific instance shall not constitute a waiver of the league’s right to enforce the policy in the future.
